Five Points is built on history, powered by entrepreneurs and alive with possibility, and we’re here to keep it moving.
Five Points carries a rhythm you feel before you see. For over a century, Black families, business owners, artists and visionaries built a place where music vibrates through the bricks, ideas turn into institutions and community is a lived experience. This is Denver’s Harlem of the West, and it’s still humming.
The Five Points BID exists to keep that rhythm alive. We are the backbone for the corridor’s businesses, property owners and cultural institutions — providing the tools, support and energy that allow this historic Black business district to thrive.
A self-sustaining artistic and commercial epicenter where culture, enterprise and community power a neighborhood that grows its own talent, supports local business and strengthens Denver’s economic and creative landscape.
To preserve and promote the historic, cultural and economic vitality of Five Points by backing local entrepreneurs, activating the corridor and building a future where legacy meets opportunity.
We’re all about making things happen. The Five Points BID fuels growth, community pride and momentum along Welton Corridor.
The Five Points BID Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
Meetings are held in person at Venture X, located on the second floor of The Lydian (2590 Welton St.), with a Zoom option available for remote participation.
